Response from Government on Revote Supreme Court Case Due February 21

Amidst the controversy surrounding the election of Donald Trump to the Presidency of the United States of America, there continues to be increasing calls by the public, state government officials, congressmen, and senators to have the matter heard and addressed related to his involvement in Russian hacking and influence campaign in the 2016 Presidential election. Meanwhile, Trump has worked quickly to keep his campaign promises, increasing profits for corporations, and instituting policies which have served to cause great division within the country. It does not help that Trump has defended Putin’s actions recently. In fact, many Republicans have joined the chorus of Democrats and denounced his stance on Russia – which some feel lends credence to the theory that Trump has ulterior motives in defending the country’s actions.

Despite Trump’s activity since becoming President, a group of several women has persisted in their case against him. Plaintiffs are Nancy Goodman, Diane Blumstein, and Donna Soodalter-Toman. The Supreme Court case centers on the question of the ultimate legitimacy of the election. Plaintiffs claim that if the election was tainted by a foreign influence that it must be declared null and void. After the inauguration, the action was assigned a new case number, which has been placed on the docket with a disposition date of February 21, 2017, for the next step in the case where the government can respond in defense of the case. Interestingly enough, the case has been brought to the court with no attorney representing the plaintiffs.

If the case is ruled in favor of plaintiffs, it would mean that the election could be ruled invalid and a revote could occur. If there is to be a revote, there should be a way to adequately secure the election process from further hacking. One of the ways could be using open source voting machines and systems as advocated by the National Association of Voting Officials since there are so many vulnerabilities laden within current voting system software. Another, but more difficult to manage, method would be a hand count. Remember that election hacking into voting systems is likely one of the ways that the election became compromised. With all the controversy surrounding the election, there is no doubt that we need a revote in order to represent the will of the people. Lawmakers are already stepping forward to support the cause.

  1. A hand counted revote would be preferable to using the Diebold type systems.. except in Los Angeles – Chicago- New York and other large cities.. where hand counts would implode due to volume issues. Another problem with hand counting is that it also lacks appropriate security against ballot stuffing etc.. and hand count fraud and fatigue issues.. Aside from that things should go swimmingly.. I suggest using open source ( GPL ) printers and scanners instead.. That way you get clean counts and avoid voter intent issues.

A revote? Perhaps they should start from when corruption actually began, that would be prior to and throughout the Democrats primaries, it was the corruption of the DNC/DWS/HRC on their own party that back fired and that’s why we now find ourselves with Trump as our…as our…our..nope I cant say it, I never will…..its mind boggling trying to process whats actually going on right now. I have never been ashamed to be an American, none of whats being put into law is what our troops have fought and died for, it goes against everything this country is based on.

This country is in for a very rude awakening, you can thank both party’s for that..it took two party’s to get our country where it is today..wake up America neither are working for you or me, its an illusion of choice…look at the psychopaths we were handed as options for the presidency..no one was thrilled with either one, we were told to vote out of fear, or for the lesser of two evils,..how is voting like that in any of our best interest, how will that make anything any better in this country? Either way we had a psychopath, either way we lose….

Consider a third party its our only way out!!

Buckle up people, we are in for a very bumpy, deadly ride!
